This Black History Month, we shine a light on the pioneers who shaped our past to inspire our future. We honor the legacy of healers who proved that nature is our greatest pharmacy
Mary Seacole (1805–1881)
The "Black Florence Nightingale." A Jamaican-Scottish healer who blended traditional Caribbean herbal remedies with Western medicine to save countless lives during the Crimean War.
Doctor Caesar
An 18th-century pioneer and the first Black person to have medical findings in print. He famously mastered herbal cures for poisons using narrowleaf plantain and common horehound.
Harriet Tubman
Beyond the Underground Railroad, Tubman was a master herbalist. As a Union nurse, she used foraged ingredients to cure dysentery and infections, proving that nature is our greatest pharmacy.

The Natural Solutions Expo (NSX) is a premier gathering dedicated to holistic health, ancestral wisdom, and modern wellness science. We provide a platform for the community to reconnect with natural healing practices and learn from world-class experts in nutrition, mental health, and biological science.
Our Journey So Far
Following the overwhelming success of our previous event, we are expanding our reach for 2026. The last Natural Solutions Expo 2025 was held on October 25, 2025, at the historic Redbridge Town Hall in Ilford. It brought together hundreds of attendees, local vendors, and renowned practitioners for a day of profound education and community healing.
